I am originally from Turkey but now live in the UK since 1980. My adventure with photography started in a very funny way that I am almost embarrassed to tell you about. But for special requests I will send a private email to those who would like to know more about it. All I can say is there were a lot of trial and errors. I think the challenge from my mistakes urged me to learn more about it and one day I found myself right in it – I had to cover the cost of errors I was making and needed more cash to waste in the darkroom.
Photographing people has always been my primary subject. Mmmm may be they move, they have feelings and their moods are more challenging. Whatever it is, I enjoyed this challenge and I am proud to move from my earlier mistakes in the darkroom to a professional status. I now take photographs that I and my clients like and I have educated many photographers to become professionals also.
Furthermore, I have started a group of wedding photographers working together and referring to each other without thinking about competition. As a business we may have a level of competition but in reality as we all have different souls and styles we all offer something different to our clients. Therefore creating the PWPN – Professional Wedding Photographers Network was not a difficult task where several wedding photographers work together, refer work to each other if they are already booked and meet meet socially to support each other.
